Our young Eustreptospondylus gets its name because of the unique curve of its spine. It was named in the 1800's by the same scientist that coined the term "Dinosaur." Some believe that the Eustreptospondylus could swim short distances. The first fossil record was on an island. This dinosaur lived about 165 million years ago!
